America has sent a guided missile submarine to the Middle East to protect Israel amid rising tensions between Israel and Iran.
To protect Israel, US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin has also asked the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln to reach the area soon.
The USS Abraham Lincoln is equipped with fighter aircraft F-35.
In fact, tensions between Israel and Iran have increased after the killing of some top leaders of Hamas and Hezbollah.
Iran had announced to take revenge for the killing of Hamas leader Ismail Haniya. It is understood that Hezbollah may target some military bases of Israel.
In view of the increased tension after Haniya's death, the US has decided to send a submarine to the Middle East.
The US wants to protect Israel from any such attack.
US Defense Minister Austin said that his country would take all possible steps to defend its allies.
