BJP is Agonizing, now the Wind has Changed: Navjot Singh Sidhu
In the Punjab government, Minister Navjot Singh Sidhu has hit the Bharatiya Janata Party in the Indian Express's Idea Exchange Program.
Sidhu said that the wind has changed in today's date. Things are such that BJP is Agonizing.
Sidhu, Tourism and Culture Minister of Punjab, told that why did he join Congress party except BJP? He said that Punjab's previous Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal and his son Sukhbir Badal were running criminal system in the state, due to which they were upset.
He said that only for giving clean government and administration in the state, he joined hands with a clean hearted Rahul Gandhi.
In response to a question on Gurdaspur by-election, Sidhu said, "Like iron bites iron, fire breaks the fire, the fork comes out of the thorn, just like when the snake is bitten, its antidose is poison. No Saridon.''
He said, in democracy, the rule is of the public, for the public, but what did the Badal government do? They made the government the estate of their family. The people of the Badal family were running 35 ministries of Government of Punjab. They run the government in the state with the help of poles. In Punjab there was no democracy, but it was dominated by crime.
Speculation about joining the Aam Aadmi Party and then joining Congress, Sidhu told that he met Arvind Kejriwal and had a positive conversation on joining the Aam Aadmi Party, but he did not discuss anything on my roll in the party.
As Sidhu, Kejriwal had said that you join the party and when I come back from Vipasana, I will discuss it. But Sidhu has refused to join the Aam Aadmi Party.
He said that the media leaked 200 times in the news that I was meeting Kejriwal.
Sidhu told that Kejriwal had said that you should campaign for seven to eight days, after which we will give your wife a party ticket.
Sidhu told that in the meeting, my friend Banti was with me, who said at that time that you are talking to a four-time MP, not a candidate who is demanding the ticket.
He said that my friend is trying to become the Chief Minister of Punjab. After this Sidhu went to his house.
Later on, there were 10-12 missed calls on his mobile. The person who had a missed call said that Priyanka Gandhi wants to meet him. Later these two leaders met. There were also Ghulam Nabi Azad.
Sidhu told that there was a difference of land-sky between Priyanka Gandhi and Kejriwal's meeting.
