Farooq Abdullah's Attack on RSS-BJP, Will now be Opposed on a Large Scale

Farooq Abdullah, former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, attacked the Center's Modi government. On Monday (August 7th) Farooq said that BJP and RSS together want to end the autonomy of Jammu and Kashmir.

Farooq Abdullah said that this is the plan of RSS. Abdullah further said, Mehbooba has said that if Article 35A is tampered with, she will leave the chair, hopefully she will stand on her point.

Abdullah said referring to the attack on the Amarnath pilgrims, remember, people stood in front of night and night. Now there will be protests and large scale.

Under the Article 35A of the Constitution of India, there is a privilege in the Legislative Assembly of Jammu and Kashmir to decide the definition of a permanent citizen on their own basis, and also mark them as well to give various privileges.

Significantly, Jammu and Kashmir is connected to the Indian Union by Article 370 of the Constitution of India.

Article 370 gives Jammu and Kashmir some special rights.

Article 35A was added to the constitution by the constitution amendment in 1954.

In the past, there were reports that the Modi government could make some changes in it. For this, the Modi Government will have to amend in the Article 35A of the Constitution of India.
