Irrational Damage to Memories and Costumes of RK Films is Sad for Everyone: Rishi Kapoor
Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor on Saturday expressed sadness on the irreparable damage to the memories of the films and the costumes made in studio due to the fires in famous R.K. Studio.
Rishi Kapoor, son of the founder of the studio Raj Kapoor, tweeted, "The studio can be rebuilt, but R.K. Films' irreparable damage to the memories and costumes of movies is tragic for everyone. The fire snatched it."
Located in Chembur area, famous R.K.Films and Studios had a severe fire on Saturday afternoon.
Rishi tweeted, "We have lost the prestigious stage-1. Thankfully, no casualty or injury has happened."
One of the main shooting venues of the studio in the fire - the set of dance reality TV show 'Super Dancer Season 2' has been burnt down. But fortunately the shooting was not going on at that time.
RK Films has given great films like 'Barsaat' (1949), 'Awara' (1951), 'Boot Polish' (1954), 'Mr. 420' (1955) and 'Jagate Raho' (1956). In this movie, 'Dis Desh me Ganga Bahati Hai' (1960), 'Mera Naam Joker' (1970), 'Bobby' (1973) first film of Rishi Kapoor and Dimple Kapadia, 'Satyam Shivam Sundaram' (1978), 'Prem Roga' (1982), 'Ram Teri Ganga Maili' (1985).
