Police Seized 51 Cows of Muslim Family on Complaint of Hindu Organizations

On the complaints of some Hindu activists in Alwar, Rajasthan in India, the police snatched 51 cows from a Muslim family and handed over a Gaushala.

Since last 10 days this family has been struggling to get their cows back. Police say that there is no their hand in this incident.

6 months ago, Pahaloo Khan was murdered, now the other members of the Miyo community are being put on the same stance by Hindu organizations.

According to the Times of India report, Subba Khan (45) said that on the complaint of the socalled cow guards, local police took 51 cows forcibly and sent them to the Gaushala. He is now whirling around the SDM office and the police station, but there is no benefit till now.

At the same time, the police say that they have no hand in this matter and the locals took cows to the gaushala.

In the house of Subba Khan, there are at present 17 calves, which are being fed with bottles. He has also given affidavit in the Kishangarh police station and SDM office, according to which all the cows are milch cattle and the calves are at their house.

The chief of Miyo Panchayat Sher Mohammed told TOI on Saturday that the police claimed that Khan was involved in Gokshi according to the complaints.

Sher Mohammed said that if this is so, why did not the police file a case against him?

Alwar SP Rahul Prakash told TOI that he has no information about this matter and he will get his information before commenting.

On the other hand, SHO Rathore of Kishangarh bus rejected the allegations which said that the police had taken the cows of Subba Khan. They said, the villagers had taken the cows of Subba Khan to the goshala.

Now the villagers have written a letter to the SDM and said that Khan does not smuggle cows and lives on selling milk.

Mohammed said that if the Miyo is targeted in such a manner, then the State Government should ban to keep the cow or pet of the Miyo community by making laws.
