Ukraine is not ready to give up its land in a possible peace deal with Russia: President Volodymyr Zelensky

Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky has told the BBC in an exclusive interview that his government is not ready to give up land in a possible peace deal with Russia.

February 24, 2023 will mark one year of the war between Russia and Ukraine. Earlier he had reached London to meet British leaders.

Volodymyr Zelensky, in an exclusive interview to BBC on this occasion, warned that giving land to Russia would mean that it would keep coming back while Western weapons would bring peace closer to us.

Volodymyr Zelensky said, "Russian attacks have started from all sides."

Regarding weapons, Volodymyr Zelensky said, ''Yes, of course. Modern weapons accelerate the process of peace, because weapons are the only language Russia understands.''
