Virat-Anushka married without blessing of elderly

Bollywood star Anushka Sharma and Indian team captain Virat Kohli got married in a grand hotel in Italy on December 11, 2017. To keep the marriage ceremony secret, it was kept hidden from most people and its official information in the media came when the marriage was over. The list of guests was very small in Anushka and Virat's wedding. Only a handful of people were called in marriage. There were such people who wanted to be the witnesses of this famous couple's wedding. Some of these were Anushka Sharma's grandmother.

Prior to marriage, Anushka's grandmother had no information about this. Though she was having conversations with her son almost everyday, but neither he had any news about this nor was he invited to the wedding. Anushka Sharma's ancestral house named Sheela Bhawan on the Neshvila Roll on Dehradun is where her grandmother and uncle-aunt live. According to Anushka's grandmother, she was not given any news related to marriage or engagement. She said, "Whatever I am aware of, that is all coming in the newspapers."

After marriage, Anushka's grandmother did not speak openly about this, but it is being said that it is in her mind that her granddaughter did not send her invitation to marriage. Anushka's grandmother, however, seems to be saying in a video on the Internet that her granddaughter should be happy wherever she is.
