Will the Taj Mahal gates reopen to tourists?

Taj Mahal is going to open to the public once again after three months of lockdown. The doors of this historic seventeenth-century building will open to tourists from Monday.

But this time guidelines have been issued for tourists under which they will always have to wear masks, keep distance from other people and will not be allowed to touch its shiny marble surface.

Only five thousand tourists will be allowed to visit the Taj Mahal every day. The tourists who come here will be divided into two groups.

This tomb was built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his queen Mumtaz.

After 80 years of hard work, 80 thousand people sometimes come to see this mausoleum.

The Ministry of Tourism, Government of India has said, "Sanitation, social distancing and other health protocols will be followed at all historic buildings and places".

The Government of India is going to reopen the Taj Mahal and other historic buildings. These include the Red Fort in New Delhi.

Meanwhile, every day a new record of corona infection is being created in India and the previous record is being broken.

According to the government data released on Sunday morning, 24,850 new cases of corona infection were reported in India in the last 24 hours. With this, the total number of corona infections in India has increased to 673,165. There are 244,814 active cases while 409,082 people recover after getting infected.

But in the last 24 hours 613 people have also died in India due to Corona epidemic. The epidemic has killed 19,628 people in India so far. India is only slightly behind Russia in cases of corona infection.
