The situation of flood in Bihar has always been horrific on Sunday, and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has sought the help of Army and Indian Air Force for the relief and rescue of thousands of people affected by the flood.

Nitish Kumar said, "The situation of flood in Bihar is frightening. The State Government is fully alert and we have sought the help of Army and Air Force helicopters to save the affected people and distribute relief material among the people.

The Chief Minister said that he has requested Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh to provide every possible help from the Center for the relief and rescue of the affected people.

Nearly half a dozen districts of Simanchal and Koshi areas in Bihar are badly affected due to heavy rains during the last three days. All major rivers in Bihar are on the boom after heavy rains in their water coming areas in Nepal and Bihar.

Officials said that hundreds of villages have been submerged in the flood waters due to which thousands of people have been affected. There is no news of any death in the flood yet. Officials of the Disaster Management Department said that the state government has alerted its employees, and the residents have been ordered to evacuate the houses in flood affected Kishanganj, Araria, Purnia, Katihar, West Champaran, Saharsa and Supaul districts.

Knowledgeable sources in the Chief Minister's Office said that 80 Army personnel from Bihar Regiment reached Kishanganj and Araria on Sunday evening to save people from Danapur Cantonment in Patna.

The State Government has already deployed teams of NDRF and SDRF in these districts. The Disaster Management Department has asked the people living in low-lying areas to move to high altitude areas.

The news reached the capital, Patna that hundreds of people have fled from their homes after entering water in villages in Supaul, Saharsa, Bagha, Gopalganj, Madhubani, Sitamarhi, Khagaria, Darbhanga and Madhepura districts.

An official of the water resources department said, "Due to heavy rains in the state and in the water coming areas
of Nepal, all the rivers are on the rise, due to which the water has penetrated in these villages."

Several railway stations in Araria and Kishanganj have been submerged in flood waters due to which many passengers have been trapped. According to officials, crops worth crores rupees have been wasted and the routes for many places have been cut. Bihar Chief Minister and Janata Dal United President Nitish Kumar may join NDA. According to the reports, Nitish Kumar may announce his party Janta Dal United to be part of NDA in the proposed meeting of Janta Dal United Working Committee on 19th August in Patna. In return, Nitish Kumar may be given greater responsibility in the NDA.

According to the news of Rediff.com, Nitish Kumar could be made the convener of the National Democratic Alliance. Apart from this, two leaders of Janata Dal United could get a place in the Narendra Modi government.

According to the reports, one of these leaders can be made the minister of cabinet rank, while the other leader can be made the minister of state.

However, Janta Dal United is facing the revolt of two senior party leaders. Rajya Sabha MPs Sharad Yadav and Ali Anwar are against Nitish Kumar's decision. Janata Dal United has suspended Ali Anwar from the party's parliamentary party. While senior party leader Sharad Yadav has been removed from the post of leader of the party's parliamentary party in the Rajya Sabha. In place of him, Janata Dal United has appointed RCP Singh as the new leader of the party in the Rajya Sabha. RCP Singh is considered close to Nitish Kumar.

According to sources, the Nitish faction now wants a farewell from both the leaders from the Rajya Sabha.

At present, Janata Dal United has 10 members in the Rajya Sabha. The differences between Nitish Kumar and Sharad Yadav came to light when last month Nitish joined hands with the BJP to form a new government in Bihar by terminating relations with Congress and RJD.

During the recent Bihar tour, Sharad Yadav had said that he still believes that he is a part of the alliance with the RJD and the Congress. Janata Dal United is not only a party of Nitish Kumar but he also has a party.

Meanwhile, BJP President Amit Shah on Saturday said that he has invited Nitish Kumar to join the NDA.

Janata Dal United has now become a parallel state. Nitish Kumar's group has tried to hunt down Sharad Yadav in an important move. He has removed him from the post of party parliamentary party leader in the Rajya Sabha.

Janata Dal United MPs in the Rajya Sabha today (August 12) together with the Chairman, Venkaiah Naidu handed over the official letter to RCP Singh to form a new leader of the party in the House. In a letter written to the Rajya Sabha Chairman, the Janata Dal United MPs have said that they have unanimously elected RCP Singh as the new leader of the party in the House.

Vishishta Narayan Singh, Bihar State President of Janata Dal United told this to the media. The day before, Sharad Yadav's close aide Rajya Sabha MP Ali Anwar was suspended from the party's parliamentary party by Nitish group.

The people of Sharad group started the side line in the party five days earlier. Earlier on Tuesday (August 8) Arun Srivastava was sacked as the party general secretary. Srivastava was accused that he had not aware of the decision of the party leadership to Chhotu Bhai Vasava, the only legislator of the party in the Gujarat Rajya Sabha elections and did anti-party work.

Nitish Kumar has convened a meeting in Patna on 19th August, but before that Nitish group is busy shaking Sharad Yadav's close associates from the party. After Arun Srivastava action to suspend on Ali Anwar and now the removal of Sharad Yadav as party leader in the Rajya Sabha is part of the same link.

Sharad Yadav is on a three-day tour of seven districts of Bihar these days. Today his journey is complete. Meanwhile, he would say that the real Janata Dal United is with him. That is, the division of the party is fixed. If this happens then the battle of domination over Janata Dal United can reach the Election Commission. Rashtriya Janata Dal chief Lalu Yadav has a press conference calling on Nitish Kumar.

Lalu Yadav said that during the JP movement he led Nitish Kumar and Nitish is cheering Modi today.

He called Nitish a patch (palatooram) of politics. Lalu said, "I started the student movement and I was more popular than Nitish. Nitish Kumar is the palatooram of politics, never know how many times have changed."

Lalu said that Nitish was scared of the popularity of his son, Tashavi Yadav. Lalu said, "Nitish was silent in the Assembly on the question of Tejasvi. He was scared of the popularity of the Tejasvi."

Nitish Kumar was said to be the right hand of Lalu in 1990. In 1994, Nitish broke away from Lalu and came out with Samata Party separately from the Janata Dal. 1997- 2005, campaign against Lalu. Together with BJP in 2005 formed the government by defeating Lalu. Nitish teamed up with Lalu in 2014. In 2015, the General Coalition defeated BJP badly.

At the same time, after breaking the Grand Alliance in Bihar and separating from the government, the leader of the Rashtriya Janata Party and former Deputy Chief Minister Tejasvi Prasad Yadav is constantly targeting the Chief Minister of the state Nitish Kumar.

Taking a dig at Nitish's resignation on the voice of conscience, Tajasvi said on Tuesday that the band of conscience has been played.

Tejasvi wrote on Twitter, "The band of conscience has been played. Even the body and the vow of the word."

On the statement of Nitish about not having anybody against Narendra Modi in the Lok Sabha elections in the year 2019, Tejasvi tweeted on Monday evening, congratulating the prime minister on his satirical tone: "Warm greetings to the respected Prime Minister Modi. In the number of devotees, openly one more knee-down of the final disciple 'entry'.

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has asked senior party leader Janata Dal United and MP Sharad Yadav to debate on the decision to quit Lalu Yadav. According to the NDTV report, Nitish has told Sharad that instead of expressing his anger publicly, he will debate on the party's platform.

Five days after Lalu Yadav's Rashtriya Janata Dal and the Congress quit by Nitish Kumar, Sharad Yadav had openly expressed his "disagreement". Terming Nitish Kumar's decision as unfortunate, Sharad Yadav said that he does not agree with it. Sharad Yadav said that Nitish's decision was contrary to the mandate.

Nitish said that he decides the best interests of the party, keeping any decision in mind. Nitish has said that he had told Sharad Yadav about breaking the alliance with Lalu Yadav and seeking support from BJP.

Sharad Yadav is the founder president of Janata Dal United, but in October last year, Nitish Kumar had removed him and became his own president. Since then, it is believed that Sharad is angry with Nitish.

On July 26, Nitish quit the post of CM and broke the alliance with RJD and Congress. The next day, he took oath of CM post. BJP leader Sushil Modi was sworn in as deputy CM. Nitish also proved the confidence vote with the support of 131 MLAs in the 243-member Bihar Legislative Assembly. But Sharad Yadav did not go to Nitish's swearing-in ceremony. Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi, CPM leader Sitaram Yechury, CPI leader D Raja, RLD leader Ajit Kumar etc. met with Sharad Yadav in Delhi. Lalu Yadav asked Sharad Yadav to come publicly with him. Mulayam Singh Yadav and Akhilesh Yadav spoke on the phone with Sharad.

Janta Dal United's two Rajya Sabha MPs Ali Anwar and Virendra Kumar have openly opposed Nitish Kumar. Sharad Yadav had a meeting with these two MPs at his Delhi-based residence, but till date he has not made any statement about separation or not being part of the party.

According to Janta Dal United sources, Sharad can join the party's national executive meeting in Patna on August 19. Nitish's gesture was to debate in this meeting.

The JDU's senior leader Sharad Yadav has said that to leaving Grand Alliance Nitish Kumar's uniting with the BJP is a tragedy.

On Monday (July 31), he told unfortunate the separation of Nitish from Grand Alliance, but it is believed that he has not yet opened all his cards.

According to sources, Sharad Yadav's closest leaders are indicating that he will be attending the conference with all the opposition leaders in Delhi before the meeting of Janta Dal United National Executive on August 19.

According to sources, 20 other units other than the Bihar unit, will also write to Nitish Kumar and Sharad Yadav.

Through this letter the party's other unit will express its displeasure over the joining hand with BJP by Nitish.

Sharad Yadav had said when Nitish joined hands with BJP, "The situation in Bihar is not good. The eleven crore voters of the state had elected the Grand Alliane. I am unhappy with the breakdown of coalition government. The coalition should not have broken. I am sad about this broken and I am talking to the people of the party. I do not feel right to say anything more than this."

Meanwhile, Janata Dal United General Secretary KC Tyagi says that he hopes that no one will try to harm party or break it. Tyagi said, "Sharad ji is a democratic person and he will not go against party's decisions or people."

According to sources, Sharad Yadav will join the party's national executive meeting, but he will also speak on the coalition with the BJP. The conference with opposition leaders is expected to be in the second week of the same month.

He has apologized for the growing controversy by saying the 'Jai Shri Ram' by Nitish Kumar's minister Khurshid Alam of Bihar, but the debate continues on the Fatwa issued against the minister and the statement of issuing Mufti Sohail Kasami of the Imarat-e-Sharia issued.

Mufti said during the Debate on Sunday (July 30th) on the TV channel 'Aaj Tak' that Mufti said that neither Ram nor Rahim, they can not live together.

Earlier, Mufti had issued a Fatwa against Khurshid Alam and said, "Which Muslim slogans Jai Shree Ram and say that I worship Ram along with Rahim .... I believe in all religious places of India ... Such a person is dismissed and released from Islam. His wife got out of his marriage. It is necessary for such a person to accept the re-acceptance and re-marriage and seek pardon. And till he does not do so, it is not justified to have relations with Muslims in any way. Avoid such a person yourself and save the Muslims too."

Bihar's sugarcane and minority welfare minister Khurshid alias Firuz Ahmed apologized Sunday after criticizing a Mufti.

After getting the confidence vote of the NDA government in the Assembly on Friday, Feroz Ahmed slapped Jai Shriram's slogan. In Bihar, ruling JD (U) MLA from Sikta constituency of West Champaran district, Khurshid during talking with reporters at the Sadan premises after getting the confidence vote in the Bihar assembly by Nitish Kumar led new NDA government of the state on Friday. The slogans were planted.

Khurshid said on Sunday that if any of his statement has come to somebody's cause, then they apologize for that. They accused of breaking up and presenting the statement and creating conspiracy.
