Vehicle parking fees increased four times in Delhi

To prevent the growing pollution in India's Delhi, the administration on Tuesday increased the vehicle parking fee four times. This decision was taken at a meeting of the Environmental Pollution Prevention and Control Authority (EPCA) appointed by the Supreme Court so that people make less use of private vehicles.

The situation of air pollution in Delhi has worsened and on Tuesday it reached the alarming level. The National Capital Territory witnessed the worst air quality and mist position of the year, which is worse than Diwali. There is a yellow blanket of mist in the sky of Delhi.

It is worth mentioning that 18 of the 21 active pollution monitoring centers have recorded serious air quality. Along with this, pollution has reached the hazardous level.

Since last evening, the quality and visibility of the air has been declining rapidly and due to the combination of moisture and pollutants, the city has a dense mist. This is a very serious situation, but according to global standards, it is also dangerous.

If the situation is bad and persists for at least 48 hours then the workforce under GRAP can close schools and start the even-odd plan.

In this regard, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal asked Deputy Chief Minister and Education Minister Manish Sisodia to consider keeping the schools closed for a few days in view of the rising pollution in the city. After this, Sisodia has convened a meeting of officials of the education, health and environmental departments.

Sisodia has also directed the Environment Department to submit a report on the city's pollution level by Tuesday evening. He said that the Delhi Government will take a final decision on closing schools after studying the report and on the different days of the week to plan to run vehicles according to the even-odd numbers.

Hazardous toxic haze in Delhi-NCR

Air pollution reached a very serious level on Tuesday in India's Delhi. Due to the pollution exceeding the permissible standard (tolerant level), the entire Delhi was covered in a thick mist sheet.

Since last evening, the quality and visibility of the air has been declining rapidly and due to the combination of moisture and pollutants, the city has a dense mist.

On Tuesday morning till 10 a.m., the Central Pollution Control Board described the quality of air in very severe condition, which means that pollution has reached extremely dangerous levels.

In view of the current situation, fixed measurement under the Grade Response Action Plan (GRAP) by the Environmental Pollution Prevention and Control Authority (EPPCA) constituted on the directions of the Supreme Court can be used in which parking charges will be increased four times Includes.

If the situation is bad and persists for at least 48 hours then the workforce under GRAP can close schools and start the even-odd plan.

Last time, the air quality reached a very critical position on October 20, one day after Diwali. Since then, the level of pollution is constantly being monitored and the quality of air is maintained at a very bad level. This is a very serious situation, but according to global standards, it is also dangerous.

The quality of the air is extremely bad, it can cause problems related to snoring when people are exposed to it for a long time, whereas being at a very serious level means that It can also affect the healthy people and can affect breath and heart patients seriously.

Dipankar Saha, CPCB's Air Lab chief, said that the air is not running at all, due to which the situation was created. At the same time, seeing the poor quality of air in Delhi, the Indian Medical Association (IMA) has described it as extremely harmful to public health. Dr. K. K. Agarwal, President of IMA, has appealed to the school to close and not let people go out of the house.

The moisture present in the weather has stopped pollutants from sources located on the ground there. Skymate, the private agency of the weather, says that the neighboring Punjab and Haryana are burning large-scale straw and the air is entering the city at afternoon. In the neighboring city of Noida and Ghaziabad, the quality of air has been very serious.

Delhi High Court said, Delhi University is behaving like ostrich

The Delhi High Court said on Tuesday that instead of taking action against the student of law threatening teachers at several times in Delhi University, the university is grappling with its head in the sand and behaving like a ostrich.

A bench of Justice Siddharth Mridul and Justice Deepak Sharma told the University, "There is a complete legal system lacking and you have kept your head in the sand like the ostrich."

The bench also told the university that the court will not allow the non-compliance of the law to roam freely in the premises.

The court last year was hearing some petitions filed by some students with the dean of law faculty and professors of Delhi University in connection with alleged misbehavior. In this case, the bench also resented Delhi Police and said that it is a matter of law and it can not be expected from the courts that they should deploy police in the law faculty of DU.

Earlier, the police had told the court that even after registering several FIRs against former president of Dusu, Satendra Awana, he was threatening the teachers.

On behalf of the police, permanent counsel Rahul Mehra said that the chargesheet was filed on October 17 in the lower court and the date of next hearing is January 9, 2018. After this, the bench fixed November 15 for further hearing in the case so that the Nyayamitra appointed by them could study the chargesheets filed by the police. Delhi Police has also been given time to file a status report in the case.

It is notable that the Delhi High Court had said just a few days ago that terrorizing the teachers is a very shocking act of which no one can imagine.

It was told to the court that a student studying law at the University of Delhi was threatened a female lecturer after being caught copying him, after which the High Court said this. While expressing anger at the incident, a bench of Justice Siddharth Mridul and Justice Najmi Vaziri had said that calling such institutions as school and addressing such persons as a student is a curse.

Narendra Modi's Minister Secret Meeting with Lalu Yadav

After the meeting of Bihar's two political parties RJD and RLSP chief Lalu Prasad Yadav and Upendra Kushwaha, a period of speculation has started in political corridors. RLSP is a part of the BJP-led NDA. Upendra Kushwaha is a minister in the Narendra Modi government.

RLSP was the BJP's partner in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections and the 2015 Legislative Assembly election. Lalu and Upendra met on Monday (October 16).

A leader of RJD told the news agency, IANS that the two leaders discussed the possibilities related to the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. However, no leader has officially said anything on this meeting.

In August this year, JD-U chief Nitish Kumar broke the alliance with RJD and Congress and joined hands with BJP. While the assembly elections of 2015 with JDU, RJD and Congress fought together, the coalition of these parties broke up almost 20 months later.

The BJP may have got its old partner back in Bihar, but with the return of Nitish in the NDA, it started discussions about Upendra Kushwaha's resentment.

It is believed that Upendra Kushwaha views Nitish as his rival and does not want to be with him.

RLSP leader Nagmani has given a signal two days back, saying this by changing the politics of Bihar that Upendra Kushwaha should be the next Chief Minister of Bihar.

It is believed that Kushwaha was lagging behind such possibilities with Lalu Yadav. It is a discussion that if the RJD and Congress are ready to make Kushwaha the Chief Ministerial candidate then the breakdown of the NDA is certain.
