نئے فوجی سربراہ کے طور پر وائس چیف آف آرمی اسٹاف لیفٹیننٹ جنرل بپن راوت کی تقرری سے سیاسی تنازعہ شروع ہو گیا ہے. کانگریس اور بایاں محاذ نے دو سینئر افسران کو سپرسيڈ کرکے راوت کو فوجی سربراہ بنائے جانے پر سوال اٹھائے ہیں.

Lt General Bipin Rawat has been appointed as the new chief of Army Staff and Air Marshal BS Dhanoa will take over as the new chief of Air Staff.

Lt Gen Bipin Rawat is presently serving as  VCOAS of the Indian Army from 01 September 2016. He was commissioned in the Fifth Battalion of the Eleven Gorkha Rifles in December 1978, from IMA, Dehradun, where he was awarded the 'Sword of Honour'.

He has vast experience in high altitude warfare and counter insurgency operations. He commanded an Infantry battalion, along the Line of Actual Control in the Eastern Sector; a Rashtriya Rifles Sector and an Infantry Division in the Kashmir Valley.

He has tenanted instructional appointments at Indian Military Academy, Dehradun and at Army War College, Mhow. Lt Gen Bipin Rawat has held important staff appointments at Directorate General of Military Operations and Military Secretary's Branch at Army HQ.

Rahul Gandhi's harsh stance is intact on the issue of Notbandi. The Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi once again scathing attack on Modi and the BJP on Notbandi. In Goa on the issue of Notbandi, Gandhi said PM Modi burnt Hindustan by Notbandi.

Rahul Gandhi said, the drama of Notbandi is not the action against corruption, it is an attack on the country's 99 percent people. .... All the money is not black money and all the black money is not in the cash. .... The poor of the country is suffering difficulties to Notbandi. .... Congress wants to wipe out corruption from this country. ... If the BJP works to remove corruption, the Congress will support 100 per cent the party. ... BJP are marketed of surgical strikes and corruption.

Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi on Friday met Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The two leaders met after a long time it personally.

The Congress delegation was with Rahul Gandhi. Rahul submitted a farmer letter to Prime Minister and discussed the  farm loan waiver issue.

The Prime Minister also met with Rahul showed great warmth. He said Rahul was meeting like this. feels good.

Gandhi later told the media, ''the Prime Minister are unhappy with the condition of the farmers, but they did not assure anything waiver issue. We also highlighted the problems of farmers in front of the Prime Minister said. The government sought to remove import duty imposed on wheat.''

India's Supreme court refused the removal of ban on the old notes of 500 and 1000. The court refused to extend the deadline for the use of these notes, the whole matter is handed over to the 5-member Constitution bench. The court sent the matter to the Constitution bench, a total of 9 questions. Moreover, the Supreme Court banned the proceedings in all courts in all matters relating to Notbandi.

The court said to the government that he fulfill its promise to facilitate cash withdrawals of Rs 24,000 every week to every people.

The opposition called on the President after deadlock in parliament on notebandi against Modi government even on friday. At the meeting not attended by 4 major parties. BSP, NCP, SP and Left leaders not arrived to meet the president. The delegation of the opposition leaders went to meet to the President of India in the leadership of the Congress president Sonia Gandhi.

Left leader Sitaram Yechury said the president's visit was no use so we did not go to the meeting. Yechury said that we will go to the people. The parties of the country will be go to the people across the country on 27, 28, 29. Yechury said while walking to the old notes were legal option, being the equivalent of the notes of old Notbandi money comes into the market.
