Corona virus infection: A case of a person re-infected with corona virus has been reported

A case of a person who has been re-infected with the corona virus has been revealed to Hong Kong scientists.

This person over 30 years of age was first infected with the corona virus four and a half months ago.

Scientists say that two things are 'completely different' in the virus's genome, this is the world's first case of re-infection.

However, the World Health Organization states that a patient's case should not come to a direct conclusion.

At the same time, experts say that re-infection is very rare and it is not even more serious.

The report by Hong Kong University stated that the man had been in the hospital for 14 days before recovering from the infection, but during screening at the airport he was again found to be corona virus infected. However, he did not have any symptoms.

Professor Brendan Rayne of the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Science says this is a very rare case of recurrence.

They say that because of this the vaccine of Covid-19 becomes very important and there is a possibility that the virus will change itself over time.

People who are infected with the corona virus have developed an immune system in their body to fight the virus which prevents the virus from returning again.

The strongest immunity is found in those who have been seriously ill with Covid-19. However, it is still unclear how long this protection is and how long the immunity can last?
