The Indian Medical Association said on Saturday that the condition of corona virus epidemic in India is very bad. The Indian Medical Association has said that spreading of corona infection in rural areas of India is now a sign of community transmission.
Dr. VK Monga, chairman of the IMA Hospital Board of India, told news agency ANI that corona virus infection is spreading rapidly in India. Now more than 30,000 new cases are coming up every day.
Monga said, "This is a very bad situation for the country. There are many aspects related to it, but now it is spreading in rural areas. This is a very bad sign. ''
Monga warned that it would be even more difficult for the government to prevent the corona virus in towns and villages.
He said, "In Delhi we are able to prevent corona but what will happen in the remote parts of Maharashtra, Kerala, Goa and Madhya Pradesh?" State governments should prevent the health crisis from deepening with the central government. ''
The Union Health Ministry has consistently rejected community transmission of corona virus in India.
Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said on Friday that community transmission has started in parts of Thiruvananthapuram.
Thiruvananthapuram was divided into three containment zones on Saturday and locked for 10 days.
Monga has said that herd immunity and vaccine are the only way to prevent the disease.
"There will be many trials and human trials for the vaccine, after which a study will be done on its effectiveness and side effects," he said.
It will also have to be seen how long the immunity developed from this will persist because not all patients are getting immunity for more than three months.
Two vaccine trials are currently underway in India. The Ethics Committee of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) on Saturday approved the first indigenous vaccine for human trials of cocaine.
AIIMS will start recruiting volunteers for the vaccine trial from Monday. ZyCoV of India's second vaccine Zydus Cadila also reached the opening phase of the Human Trial this week. Clinical trials of this vaccine will be conducted in many cities in India.
The number of Corona virus infection cases in India reached 10,77,618 on Sunday. So far, 26,000 people have died in the country from Corona, while 6.7 lakh people have been recovered.
