Talking in Kumble-Kohli was Closed for 6 Months, Not Possible Reconciliation

The Indian cricket team left for the West Indies tour on June 20 without coach Anil Kumble. First news came that Kumble could not accompany the team due to an urgent meeting, but after this late night, Kumble resigned from the post of coach and cleared up the case. Indian captain Virat Kohli was seen to be a big reason behind this.

Now it is also revealed that there was a lot of turmoil in the team for the last 6 months. One source said that even during this conversation between Virat Kohli and Anil Kumble was closed.

When the top officials of BCCI came to know about this, an attempt was made to settle the matter with both of them, but they also failed.

BCCI officials said that the two had stopped talking to each other after the England Test series ended in December last year. There were problems, but it was shocking that the two were not communicating properly in the last six months. After the final on Sunday, they sat together and they both agreed that it is difficult to get along with them.

Now the senior BCCI official Rajiv Shukla has made it clear that before the Sri Lanka tour, the team will get a new coach. He said that the BCCI made best efforts on its behalf to resolve this issue. The Working Secretary and the CEO discussed this matter with Kumble and Kohli in detail. The Board also got the suggestion from COA Chairman Vinod Rai. Attempts were made to resolve the issue, but in the end there was no result and Kumble decided to step down.

Kumble also said after resigning from the post that a day earlier I came to know with the BCCI that the captain has problems with my style and he does not want to keep me as a coach. I was surprised by this because I always respected the line between the captain and the coach. Although the BCCI tried to resolve the dispute between me and the captain, but it was clear that the partnership is not going to run, so I believe that I should step down from the post.

Virat Kohli Shocks Two Strokes in Two Days

The defeat achieved by Pakistan in the Champions Trophy final for the Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli is no less than a shock. Even though Kohli has called it a 'other match' of cricket, but he also knows how much it had a deep impact on the morale of the team. Certainly Kohli would like to quickly recover from this defeat. 23 will be the start of the team's tour of West Indies, therefore, there will be a great performance from the team there.

But in the last 24 hours Virat Kohli has got two shocks. The first Team India has lost the Champions Trophy at the hands of Pakistan and in the second ODI, the team also slipped to third spot. Two years later, the World Cup of cricket is to be held in England, so Virat Kohli will have to take these lessons from this defeat.

In the Champions Trophy, the Indian team relies mostly on top three batsmen. Since the middle-order batsmen did not get much chance of batting, they did not understand the mood of England's conditions and the pitch. Yuvraj Singh against Pakistan and Dhoni against Sri Lanka certainly did a great batting in the match, but both could not do in the final.

The question arises whether Dhoni will be able to live in that form till the 2019 World Cup. In the matches played out of Asia from 2015, Dhoni has played 25 matches in which he has scored only 460 runs, he also has an average of 30.60. At the same time Yuvraj Singh played cricket abroad after four years. Therefore, Virat needs to brainstorm to strengthen the middle class.

One thing to note in the Champions Trophy is that in the matches in which India lost the team, the bowlers have looted the runs. First against Sri Lanka and second in the final against Pakistan. India's lack of an additional specialist fast bowler, Do not give Umesh Yadav and Mohammed Shami a chance in this match, they also have trouble for the team. It will also be a big challenge to balance the spinner and pace.

India has many young players who are now required to give chance. If India has to prepare for the World Cup then Rishabh Pant, Sanju Samson, Shreyas Iyer will have to be successful. By managing them in some matches, management and Kohli should decide where they fit.

French Open 2017: Rohan Bopanna-Dabrowski Wins Mixed Open Title

Rohan Bopanna won his first Grand Slam title on Thursday (June 8th) with his Canadian partner Gabriela Dabrowski winning the French Open mixed doubles trophy.

He has become the fourth Indian to win the Grand Slam title.

Bopanna and Dabrowski's seventh seeded pair made a great comeback in the final. They saved the two match points to beat Anna Lena Gorenfield of Germany and Robert Farah of Colombia 2-6, 6-2, 12-10.

Before Bopanna, only Leander Paes, Mahesh Bhupathi and Sania Mirza won the Grand Slam title for India. Dabrowski lost her service on the crucial point. After running long rallies, Farah made a volley on top of Bopanna's head. Anna Lena Gorenfield, who celebrated her 22nd birthday on Sunday, easily saved the game to score 3-1.

In the first set, there was pressure on Bopanna and his forehand went out and in the fifth game there were two break points against him, but the Canadian player showed good play on the net and they saved them. Farah's service was good and when Dabrowski was doing service at 2-4, pressure on her could be seen to be obvious. Her backhand went out and broke her service at zero. Bopanna started the second set with double fault, but he managed to save his service. Meanwhile, he also debated the chair umpire for the line time. Anyhow, the desire to return was heavy on the seventh seeded pair and Dabrowski was unable to save her service at the start of the second set.

Bopanna and his Canadian partner, however, got relief when Gorenfield lost her serve at zero. After this, Farah could not save his service in the sixth game, so that Bopanna and Dabrowski were 4-2 ahead. After this, the Canadian player saved her service for the first time in the match, and after this they easily winning the second set by matching the game in the match.

In the match tiebreaker Bopanna and Dabrowski made a 3-0 lead, but after that they lost five points and were 3-5 down. After that the scores were tied at 5-5. Further fluctuation continued, and in the end, Bopanna and Dabrowski were successful in becoming champions.
