Australia Beat India by 21 runs

Australia defeated India by 21 runs in the fourth ODI at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium on Thursday.

Australia batted first with a huge goal of 335 runs in front of India.

The Indian team could score 313 runs losing eight wickets in 50 overs. Kedar Jadhav scored the highest 67 runs from India.

Rohit Sharma scored 65 and Ajinkya Rahane scored 53 runs. Ken Richardson took two wickets for Australia.

Earlier, Australia won the toss and chose the batting first and scored the first wicket between David Warner (124) and Aaron Finch (94) after scoring 231 runs for the first wicket on 50 overs after scoring 334 runs for five wickets.

Warner made 12 fours and four sixes in 119 balls. Finch hit ten fours and three sixes in 96 balls.

India Won Third ODI and Series from Australia

India have won the third one-day match against Australia in Indore by five wickets. In addition, India has achieved an unbeatable 3-0 lead in the five-match series.

PV Sindhu Created History by Winning Korea Super Series

Indian badminton player PV Sindhu created a new history by winning the Korea Open Badminton Tournament on Sunday defeating Japan's Nozomi Okuhara and she became the first Indian player to win the Korea Open Badminton Tournament.

Sehwag's Big Disclosure: Due to No Setting, the Coach of Indian Cricket Team could Not be Made

Virender Sehwag said on Friday that due to lack of preservation of officials in the BCCI, he missed the main coach of the Indian cricket team and would not apply for the post again.

Sehwag lagged behind Ravi Shastri in the race for this post, which was considered as the choice of captain Virat Kohli.

This decision though was not unanimous and former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly, who was involved in the Cricket Advisory Committee (CAC), was against it.

Sehwag said during a 'chat show' in the Hindi news channel 'India TV', "Look, I could not become a coach because I did not have any settings from who was selecting the coach."

This former aggressive opener claimed that when he was applying for this post, a section of the BCCI had given him a stray.

Sehwag said, "I never thought of giving coaching to the Indian cricket team. I was offered to be the coach of the team. BCCI Secretary (Ambitabh Chaudhary) and General Manager (Sports Development) MV Shridhar came to me and requested me to think about this offer. I took the time and then applied for this post."

He claimed that before applying for this post, he had consulted Indian captain Virat Kohli.

Sehwag said, "I had spoken to Virat Kohli also, he told me to move forward. After this I had applied If you ask my view, I would say that I had never been interested in it."

He said, "I thought they are urging, so I should help them. I have never thought about the application itself and will never apply in the future."

Sehwag also said that Shastri had initially told him that he would not apply for the post and if he had already known his intentions, then he would not send his name.

He said, "When I was in England during the Champions Trophy, I asked Ravi Shastri why did not he apply for the post?

2024 Olympic Games Host to Paris, 2028 Los Angeles

The host of 2024 and 2028 have been announced for the Olympic Games. Hosting of 2024 to France's capital Paris and American city of Los Angeles of 2028.

Star India Gets IPL's TV and Digital Rights

Star India has purchased the Digital and Television Broadcasting rights of Indian Premier League (IPL) for five years for Rs. 16,347.5 crores. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) gave its information on Monday.

Star India had made the biggest bid for the broadcast rights of IPL globally. Under this, Star India will now have the rights to broadcast IPL from 2018 to 2022.

Initially, a total of 24 companies had registered for the acquisition of IPL rights. It included companies like Facebook, Amazon, Twitter, Yahoo, Reliance Jio, Star India, Sony Pictures, Discovery, Sky, British Telecom and ESPN Digital Media.

BCCI will benefit from an IPL match of Rs 55 crores, while it will benefit a total of 43 crores from an international level match.

Star India Chairman Uday Shankar said on this occasion, "We believe that IPL is a powerful asset and we also know that the price of this tournament at the level of digital and TV should be increased more and more among fans. After achieving this right, we will be more committed to the development of this game in the country."

Shankar said that India, cricket and IPL have undergone major changes since 2008 and this claim is a glimpse of that change.

The BCCI had dismissed the appeal saying it will not compromise on zero tolerance policy against corruption.

Vinod Rai, president of the Committee of Administrators constituted to oversee the Board of Control of Cricket in India (CCA) by the Supreme Court, on Friday said that former Indian captain Rahul Dravid refused to become the national team's batting consultant during the foreign tours (Test), While Zaheer Khan's bowling consultant has not yet taken a decision.
